Trio of Coaster Patterns

MATERIALS: 

Lily Skytone Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 1.

Crochet hook size 7.

"A"-Party Flowers Skytone in White and Beauty Rose 

(or other color) for flower,

Shaded Greens for leaves.

FLOWER:In White, ch 7, sl st in 1st st. Ch 4, dc in ring, (ch 1, dc in ring) 10 times, ch 1, sl st in 1st 3-ch.

ROW 2:Ch 3, (2 dc in next sp, 1 dc in dc) around, sl st in 3-ch. Fasten off.

ROW 3:In Beauty Rose, sc in 3 dc, * (sc, ch 9, sc) in next dc, sc in next 5 dc. Repeat from * around, sl st in 1st sc.

ROW 4:* 2 dc in next loop, (2 tr, ch 4, sl st in last tr) 7 times in same loop, 2 tr and 2 dc in bal. of loop, sc between loops. Repeat from * 5

times. 

Fasten off.

LEAF:In Shaded Green, ch 13, (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc and 1 hdc) on ch, (2 sc, a 3-ch p and 1 sc) in end st, (1 hdc, 2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc) on other side of ch, sl st in 1st sc, ch 1 and fasten off.

Make 6 and sew between flower petals. Dampen back with hot starch

and press dry.

"B"-Tea Time

MATERIALS:

Skytone in White and Lt. Green 

(or other color).

Narrow White Ribbon.

 ******

In Green, ch 8, sl st in 1st st. Ch 3, 23 dc in ring, sl st in 3-ch. 

ROW 2—(11 dc in one loop of next 3d dc, sc inboth loops of next 3d dc) 4 times. Fasten off.

ROW 3—A White sc in 6th dc on one shell, * (ch 1, tr) 7 times in 1 loop of sc between Shells, ch 1, sc in 6th dc on next shell. Repeat * from * 3 times. Fasten off.
ROW 4—Join Green to one sc, ch 3, * dc in next 1,ch, dc in tr, (2 dc in next sp, 1 dc in tr) 6 times, 1 dc in next sp, dc in sc. Repeat from *3 times. Sl st in 3-ch.
ROW 5—Ch 3, * dc in next 8 dc, (2 dc in next dc) 
5 times, dc in 9 dc. Repeat from * 3 times. 
Sl st in 3-ch.
ROW 6—Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, worked off together into a Cluster, *(ch 2, a 3-dc-Cluster in next 3d dc) 4 times, (ch 2, a Cluster in next 2d dc) 3 times, (ch 2, a Cluster in next 3d dc) 3 times.Repeat from*around. Ch 2, sl st in 1st Cluster.
ROW 7—Ch 3, * (2 dc in next sp, 1 dc in Cluster) twice, (3 dc in next sp, dc in Cluster) 6 times, (2 dc in next sp, dc in Cluster) twice.Repeat from * around and join.
ROW 8—Ch 7 and drop in front, join White in next 2d dc, ch 7 and drop in front, * pick up Green, sc behind White in next 2d dc, ch 7 and drop in front, pick up White, sc behind Green in next 2d dc, ch 7 and
drop in front. Repeat from * around. Fasten off. Dampen back with hot starch and press dry.
Run ribbon thru Row 6 and tie at one corner.

"C"-Pie Crust 

MATERIALS:

Skytone in Shaded Yellows 

(or other color).

Ch 2,7 sc in 1st st, (sl st, ch 3 and 3 dc) in back loop of 1st sc, (4 dc in next sc) 6 times, sl st in 3-ch.

ROW 3:Ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next) around and join.

ROW 4:Ch 3, 1 dc in next dc, (2 dc in next, dc in 2 dc) around and join.

ROW 5:Ch 3, dc in 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in 3 dc) around and join.

ROW 6:Ch 3, dc in 3 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in 4 dc) around and join. Repeat Row 5.

ROW 8:Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 1 loop of each dc and join.

ROW 9:Ch 1, turn, dc thru 1 loop of each st and down at back thrust directly below in Row 7. Sl st in 1-ch.

FRILL:Ch 5, dc in next dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) around, ch 2, sl st in
1st 3-ch. Sc in next 2-ch, (ch 3, sc in next sp) around. Fasten off. Dip in hot starch, roll in cloth to absorb excess, form in true shape with

Frill in even ripples and leave until dry.
